Spring Flings Anthology: Review Part One

I recently had the joy of reading Whiskey Creek Press Torrid's new anthology, Spring Flings. Since I spent more time on that than my own writing (the author's curse, I swear!) I am going to post reviews of some of the stories from the anthology.

Chocolate Covered Werewolves by Sherrill Quinn

Sydney Langdon is a detective who's agency finds missing people. And she's in love with a werewolf, the sexy Killian Murphy.

I must say the sex scenes and tension between the two was extremely hot! Definitely two thumbs up for Ms. Quinn's saucy writing style.

My only disappoinment with Chocolate Covered Werewolves is... There is not more! The plot and characterization lead to many unanswered questions... What happens to Valida, the in-danger, British vamp? I hope Ms. Quinn will have the opportunity to expand on this tale in further anthologies or stories.

Oh, Laina... you'll just have to read the next two anthologies. :)

Hot Time in the City, in the Summer Sizzlers Anthology (released in July) is Brandt's story. Pumpkin Moon, in the Fall Fires Anthology (released in October), is Turner's story, and he hooks up with Valida, so you'll find out what happens to her. Sorry it's so short, but there's a word count limit on these things. *G*

Hi Laina,

You're a writer with excellent tast. I just finished Chocolate Covered Werewolves and am totally in love Killian.

Don't you think Sherrill should write a full novel with these characters?

I agree, Sloane. She does need to write a full novel, if not a serious of novels. I love it! (And I usually don't do werewolves and vamps ;)
